Difficulty: Easy Prep Time: 10 Mins Cook Time: 30 Mins Total Time: 40 Mins

Playing around with this recipe has not been good on my figure let me tell you. There are so many different varieties of ingredients that can be added and combined its been great to experiment with. So I prefer my crunchies to be soft and gooey – I know its “crunch”ies  – but that’s how I like them. I cut the time with 10min when I bake mine but if you like the crunch, follow the recipe.

0/4 Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 160°C and line a baking a tray with baking paper
  • Melt butter and add honey and milk. Heat mixture in a pot, but don't bring to boil. (This can be done in a microwave too - if you want) Let it cool down for a minute or two
  • Add the Granola, Sugar, Salt, Nut Butter to the same pot and mix. Sift the Flour, Baking Soda, Salt, Cinnamon to the same pot and mix well again.
  • Bake for about 30min or until golden. Keep an eye on it - when the crunchies stop "bubbling" you know it's done - keep it a little longer for the crunch but make sure the sides don't burn. I like to lower the temperature of my oven to about 100°C

I like to add raisins or dried fruit mix to my mixture. If you like coconut you can replace 1 cup of granola with 1 cup coconut.

Basically, I just add in whatever I feel like that day or what I have in my pantry. But the main recipe with stay the same.

Enjoy and have fun experimenting with this one as there are so many things you can add in - chocolate chips are also good. I can post 20 recipes with all the varieties haha.
